Just got an email from the good folks at IFP-MN, alerting us to tonight's Cinema Lounge program at Bryant-Lake Bowl:

Come watch some great videos and then ask the filmmaker questions after each film plays. Cinema Lounge is FREE and open to the public. This month we have: "Karl's Big Break" - Sam Heyn "Keys" - Ned Hurly "Who's the Fairest?" - Matt Olson "A New Year" - Ethan Holbrook So come on down, have a beer, have some food, and watch some awesome films! wednesday screening at bryant lake bowl: Mystery Science Theater 3000

Classic MST3K for y'all at Bryant Lake, 10PM this Wednesday:

Space Mutiny--few titles in the pantheon of world cinema are so discouraging. And in the adjoining pantheon of beefy, low-watt protagonists, few names echo as loudly as David Ryder. Gizmonic Institute offers this famed MST3k episode to you, with good beer and cushy seats to ease away the agony.

I'm just gonna assume that you all watched hours of this as a kid on Comedy Central, and that for me to say anything about it would just be preaching to the choir so to speak.  If you want more info, though, you could always check out the Gizmonic Institute.

If it's the third Wednesday, then there must be some cinema going down at Bryant-Lake Bowl.  This time around the IFP folk are bringing us some music videos, which you'll read about here:

Come on down to the Bryant Lake Bowl for out February Cinema Lounge. This month we are screening all locally made music videos. It's going to be a blast.

Cinema Lounge is FREE and open to the public. The show starts at 7pm in the Bryant Lake Bowl Theater on Wednesday the 16th.
