thelonious monk documentary at trylon (sold out!)

Sorry folks, but jazz documentaries draw crowds large enough to sell out microcinemas.  But fret not, for Jazz88's Reel Jazz Film Series has two more films lined up at the Trylon in the next few months.  On Oct 14 there will be a presentation of rare jazz films by preservationist Bob DeFlores.  Then on Nov 11 there's a screening of the The Last of the Blue Devils, a documentary about famous Kansas City jazz musicians reuniting in the late 70's.

But remember, don't wait till the last minute for these tickets.
