•El Baile de la Victoria @ The Riverview -- 7:30. This screening is part of a political fundraiser for Patricia Torres Ray.
•Dave Douglas & Keystone/Bill Morrison's "Speak of Being" @ The Walker -- 8:00. A jazz and film collaboration commissioned by the Walker.
Friday, Oct 8
•Les Destinees @ The Walker -- 7:30. The first screening in the Walker's month long retrospective of Olivier Assayas.
•Dead Snow @ St Anthony. Weekend-only screening. Part of October late night horror flicks for $5.
•Genius Within: The Inner Life of Glenn Gould @ St Anthony. Two week run of this documentary starts this night.
•Zombieland @ The Riverview. Weekend-only screening. More late night horror flicks, every weekend at The Riverview. Also $5.
Saturday, Oct 9
•Conclusion of the Sound Unseen festival.
•Cold Water and demonlover @ The Walker -- 7:30 & 9:30, respectively. Assayas double feature.
•The Trial The Mystery of Picasso @ Trylon. Two-day event. Part of the new weekly series, "Milestone's 20th: Two Decades of Enduring Artistry."
