loring theater sunday screening: Some Like It Hot

Sunday marks the Loring Theater's first of three films in their "Mimosa Movie" series, Some Like It Hot, a classic comedy from one of my favorite directors, Billy Wilder.  The movie starts at 2pm (that's right, a matinee):

When two musicians witness a mob hit, they flee the state in an all female band disguised as women, but further complications set in. Starring Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon, and Tony Curtis. 

When has cross-dressing not caused riotous laughter?  (For the answer, view the 90's documentary Paris is Burning).  The rest of their series includes Breakfast Club and Annie Hall, before switching over to "Loring Vintage Cinema" which features On The Waterfront, East of Eden, and Casablanca (vintage indeed).
