tuesday night screenings: Samson And Delilah & Liquid Stone

I'm gonna make this quick cause it's too nice outside to be at my computer.  Two great screenings tonight including Liquid Stone at Black Dog and Samson and Delilah at Trylon, which I'll be attending (so I'll see you there!):

Feb 15th
Liquid Stone: Unlocking Gaudi’s Secrets
Despite his famous quip about the enduring patience of his client, the man known as “God’s architect” never intended his masterpiece, La Sagrada Familia, to remain unfinished 80 years after his death. This program examines efforts to bring Antonio Gaudi’s work to completion in a manner consistent with his original goals and ideas. Viewers meet Mark Burry, the New Zealand architect charged with deciphering Gaudi’s design patterns, which rely heavily on organic sculptural motifs encoded in mystifying plaster models. Burry’s innovative use of aeronautical design software as well as the contributions of traditional artisans enlivens this fascinating final chapter in one of architecture’s great sagas.
